E-Concept Christmas Party 2023

We had a great time along Kwun Tong Promenade with several fun games and snacks, enjoying the festive season of December. In particular, the E-Concept dodgeball tournament was absolutely the highlight!
This event is the first one that allows members from all branches or partnering organisations of E-Concept to bond with each other. We hope that, through this gathering, not only do we celebrate the arrival of Christmas, but also meet like-minded friends!
Round Square Day Fair Booth

In collaboration with the Round Square Student Committee of St. Paul's Co-educational College, E-Concept established a booth during the Round Square Day Fair in December. Through fun games, we were able to share with others our mission and vision, and successfully let more students realize the power of education on the future of society.
Pre-F1 Interview Workshop

This interview workshop is held to help students develop important interview skills such as delivery, adaptability, and communication skills and foster confidence. Our volunteers shared their experiences in past interviews and provided tips for interviews. Mock interviews were also conducted for the students to allow them to gain experience, receive personalized feedback from experienced volunteers, and gain insight into their strengths and weaknesses.
Cycling Outing

For tutors to connect and de-stress from the academic workload and tutoring duties, we held this cycling outing as a healthy activity to improve tutor bonding and connect members of different committees. We all enjoyed the picturesque view when building friendships with like-minded individuals.
Summer District Service

We served kids from squatter houses in Sheung Shui, helped them check their homework and played a lot of games with the hope to give them let their summer holidays end with a blast. We also learned about the living conditions of the residents, paving the way for further action to assist their learning.

We helped students with their summer holiday homework and consolidated their knowledge, as well as led 5 different science-related experiments which introduced fundamental science knowledge to primary students.
Sherlock Holmes Easter Hunt Activity

To promote the festive atmosphere of Easter and provide primary school students with a learning opportunity by introducing them to knowledge beyond their primary curriculum, we hosted a series of game stalls, each related to a specific subject, for the primary school students.
DIY Christmas Decoration Workshop

With the aim of celebrating Christmas and giving children a taste of hand-making Christmas products, we held a workshop online, in which children can use their creativity to make Christmas decorations from used materials.

Virtual Travelling Activity

With the hope of providing children with an opportunity to take a look at places around the world during the pandemic, we held a virtual tour and introduced various countries or regions to them by talking about the social, economic, historic and architectural aspects, as well as providing mysteries and fun facts.
CNY Short-story Writing Workshop

A writing workshop was provided to students to boost their interest and train their skills in writing. Students were given a chance to collaborate and composite a story together in groups on a given topic under the guidance of our tutors and volunteers. Feedback was given to the participants as well for their future improvements.

Christmas Gathering

To celebrate Christmas with our tutors, we held a Chrismas gathering for the tutors to play games together and meet new friends in order to improve the bonding between tutors in E-Concept. Activities such as gift exchange session, the exciting E-Concept Winter Olympics, a picnic and various group activities were held.
Cape D'Aguilar Hike

E-Concept's first internal welfare event - a hike and a sponsored meal was successfully held. We built friendship as we embarked on the hike. Embraced by emerald-green trees and the fragrance of nature, all of us enjoyed the journey at the Southeastern tip of Hong Kong Island, and of course, the scrumptious and free meal as well.
